Fenced public playground at South Village, Kirrawee: flying fox, climbing gear, bike loop and picnic shade. No BBQ is listed; toilets are in the shopping centre next door. First-come DIY park party — you cannot book exclusive use.
Biddy Giles Park is the big public playground beside South Village at 45 Flora Street, Kirrawee — a DIY park party, not a booked venue. The fenced playground has a climbing structure, adventure play, swings and slides, a flying fox, a basketball key, handball and hopscotch, and concrete table-tennis tables. A small circular bike/scooter path loops the grass, with picnic facilities, shade structures and seating.
Council does not list barbecues here. Public toilets are in the South Village shopping centre, not in the park. Dogs are not allowed within 10 metres of the play equipment; they are permitted on-leash in the rest of the park.
Bring your own food, shade extras and a cake. Picnic shelters and barbecues across the Shire are first-come, first-served — you cannot book this park for exclusive use. Arrive early on weekends; it is popular and open to everyone.
