Christopher's Cakes

Christopher’s Cake Shop, in operation since 1953 according to its official story page, has two Sutherland Shire counters: South Village Shop G21, 580 Princes Highway, Kirrawee (02 8005 3995) and Westfield Miranda Shop 1181, Fresh Food, 600 Kingsway (02 9531 6500). The shops sell whole celebration cakes, cupcakes, tarts and pastries to collect — not a sculpted, fully custom cake studio.

Specialised birthday cakes can be ordered with about one to two weeks’ notice. There is no delivery: order in store, on the website or via the app, then pick up. Kirrawee hours are Monday–Saturday 7:30am–6pm and Sunday 8am–6pm. Miranda is Monday–Wednesday 8am–6pm, Thursday 8am–8pm, Friday–Saturday 8am–6:30pm and Sunday 9am–6pm.

Gluten-free and vegan options are listed, but everything is made in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy, so staff should be asked before buying.
