Riverside park at 2A Cremona Road, Como — picnic tables, BBQs and tidal baths — but the playground is out for a 2026 rebuild. First-come public space; you cannot book the shelters. Confirm play equipment before you rely on it.
The playground at Como Pleasure Grounds is being rebuilt. Council’s park page says the play equipment is not available once reconstruction starts; the old pirate playground is gone, and the replacement (paddle-steamer themed, more inclusive) is a 2026 project. The rest of the grounds stay open: riverside lawns, picnic tables, free public BBQs, a bike/walking loop, Georges River views, and the tidal baths below the seasonal Como Swimming Complex.
Access is via 2A Cremona Road, Como. This is a first-come public park, not a hired venue. Council does not take bookings for picnic shelters or barbecues. Only large picnics (over 100), school groups and ceremonies go through sutherland.bookable.net.au.
Bring food, check the baths and pool season before you promise swimming, and do not plan the day around play equipment until Council confirms the new playground is open.
